How to Use the Heat Press

The Heat Press is one of our most versatile tools. It is most typically used for adhering heat transfer vinyl, sublimation, and vinyl. This tutorial will help you navigate the buttons and tools available to change settings and unlock the full potential of this tool.

Turning the Heat Press On

The power button for the heat press is located on the left side of the heat press. When turned on the switch will light up red. The heat press must always be turned off whenever it is not in use.

Adjusting Settings

To edit the temperature and time settings on the heat press, click the black button labeled "OK" one time.

1) It will first give you the option to choose Fahrenheit or Celsius. Click the black "OK" button to confirm you choice.

2) Then it will allow you to adjust the temperature setting. Click the black up arrow or down arrow until you get to your desired temperature. Then click "OK" to confirm your setting.

3) Finally, it will allow you to adjust the timer setting. Click the black up arrow or down arrow to adjust the setting to your desired time. Then click "OK" to confirm your setting.

Preheat the Heat Press

After turning on the heat press and adjusting the settings, the heat press will immediately start to preheat. Wait until the temperature reaches to the desired temperature before starting to use.


**When the heat press is turned on and not in use please hang up caution sign**

Using the Heat Press

After the Heat Press is preheated, place your desired materials on the heat bed.

**Always remember to place a sheet of parchment paper in between the top heat bed and your material to avoid burning and sticking**

Then press the heat press all the way down until you hear a click.

When the timer is finished, the heat press will automatically open.
