How to Be a Flasher for Dirt Cheat and Offend Almost Nobody!!?!?!

This was my Halloween costume last year and won first prize in a costume contest. Note this is the only photo that I have for this instructable because I put this together last halloween and did not expect to publish an instructable on this so I don't have any pictures on the process....

Supplies

All you need is

A trench coat
About 2 or so yards of black clothe, I got it at walmart for under $5
White spray paint
Cardboard or stencles
Safety pins or needle and thread
Black undies (tighty whities [or black in this case])

extras:
sun glasses
pimp hat
and running shoes for a quick getaway

Step 1

First lay the black clothe. Cut the black clothe about '4x"18 depending on your size and arm span, just wing it here ( you want to have about 75% or so of your arm span ). When you get the proper size of clothe, then make or lay out your stencles ( I made mine out of single ply cardboard and "2 bold letter print outs from noted pad ). Be sure you spell it right before you paint the letters, like the spelling bee champ that I am, the first time I spelled it cinsored but it is CENSORED. Now that you have the letters layed out then you paint. Make sure to cover all other aspects of the clothe so as not to get over spray. When painting make sure as to spray several light coats as the paint will run. Now pull off your stencles and check your work and let it dry. I would give it about 2 hours or so to make sure.

Step 2

When the paint dries, attach your censor bar to the undies. You can use safety pins if you do not want to damage the undies but it is best to use a needle and black thread, only do a spot stitch so the bar will flap free. Make sure to find the center of the bar and the undies so it lines up correctly.

Step 3

Now that you have your censor bar setup don the trench coat and undies. You want to make sure to be wearing them so as not attach the bar to the coat in the wrong spot. It is best to have an extra set of hands for this part. Pin or stitch the ends of the bar to the coat, do this at the corners so the bar doesn't curl up on you.

Bam!!! Your Done, Have Fun.

Now strip down and don your new pervert identity. Have fun with it and take advantage of Halloween, I flashed the clerck at the liquor store and got a free case of beer out of the deal. All in all I spent about $10 on this costume and got $500 and a case of beer out of the deal.
