Pumpkin carving is a great way to express creativity. I took that a bit farther this year and added a smoke machine to a pumpkin.

You will need:
A rather plump pumpkin
A fog machine
A vacuum hose and possibly an adapter to fit it
Knife
Pumpkin carving tools

Prep Hose

You will need to prep the hose. You may need to trim some of the threading's  if you have an adapter. Use a knife and carefully trim threading's.

Now take it the fog disperser off of the machine and put it in a safe place. Now attach the hose to the fog machine. If it does not fit trim some more of the threadings's.

Now you must carve the pumpkin. This is probably the toughest step. After you have chosen the face carve it out on your pumpkin. Then drill a hole in the back of the pumpkin that matches the size of the hose coming out of your fog machine. Then shove the hose in the hole.

Now you have the finished product. Plug in your fog machine and let it warm up. When it is warm flip on the switch on the remote if you have one.

Tips & Tricks

1. Remove the lid to ventilate the fog when you need to.

2. I kind of screwed up the hole in the back of the pumpkin and the drill got out of control and because of that the hole is jagged. I would recommend starting the drill at low speed and holding it firmly.

3. Don't cut your hose. You may need a longer hose the next year.
