How to Build an Owl Feeder

Owl Feeder Sized.jpg
This instructable will show you how to build an Owl feeder, which can be used for not only Owls but for any bird of prey that just so happens to frequent your location.

Things You'll Need for Building

These things you need you probably already have.

These things are
     >Bits of wood
     >Screws/Nails
     >Means of Screwing and/or Nailing

The Plan

The design is fairly simple and can be customized depending upon the amount of wood at hand and how much ingenuity you have.

What the diagram attach shows is the basic principle of the thing. You have two legs for support and a top for the owl treats as well as sturdy landing pad for your new fowl friend.

The length of the boards are entirely up to you.

The Treats

For this step you will need something that owls like eat.

Mice fit the bill quite nicely and can be obtained many ways.

The Wait

Now all you need is a comfy lawn chair and a good book and in no time you'll say goodbye to one pet and hello to another.
