We hope you enjoy this project to help with your hallowe'en or spooky collection!

Please let us know how you get on and share your pictures on our Facebook page.

What you'll need:

Victorian Kitchen Table 2679
A hammer
Sandpaper/abrasive paper
Permanent marker

Start by hitting and scraping the table gently with the hammer, to dent the surface.

We also roughly sanded the surface with abrasive paper. This gives the table an old and distressed look.

Here's the key moment! You should then roughly colour the table with a permanent marker.

Next, rub the table down using the sandpaper.

Finally, wipe the table down to remove any dust.

Well done! You have successfully distressed your kitchen table!
