I bought 4 x4's - 2 x 4's - 3/4 x 1 1/2 wood strips - lead anchors - hex head lag screws - washers - stain/varnish - and cedar planks from our local Lowes store. I ordered the shoji screen dividers from Amazon.com and removed their hinges to leave them as individual units. I built frames with the 4x4's and 2x4's and attached them to the floor and wall and ceiling with the lag screws and washers. Once the frames were made I simply put the shoji dividers each in each frame. The shoji are not permanently attached and can be removed for cleaning. I invested something in the neighborhood of $ 400.00 in materials. The wall does not slide but I just wanted a sturdy shoji wall to separate the dinning from the living room. For a complete set of pictures on how the project progressed, look up the instructables. I'll find out if there is a limit in the amount of pictures that I can publish in their website. This is in order to give a more detailed instruction and show the final product.
