How to Make Fried Panko-Crusted Mushrooms (Video)
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour - A handful
- Salt - A spoonful
- Black Pepper - Half a spoonful
- Garlic Powder - Half of Half a spoonful
- Egg - One egg
- Panko Bread Crumbs
Flour
Add a handful of all purpose flour into a bowl.
Add Salt, Garlic Powder, & Black Pepper
Add a spoonful of salt, half a spoonful of black pepper, and half of half a spoonful of salt.

Adjust to taste. The amount is up to you :)
Add Mushrooms
Add mushrooms into the bowl of the flour mixture.
Coat the Mushroom
Coat the mushrooms by putting a bigger size bowl on top of the smaller bowl and shaking it until the mushrooms are coated well.
Or you may use a spoon to toss the flour onto the mushrooms.
Egg, Salt, & Black Pepper
In a bowl, whisk together an egg, half a spoon of salt, and half a spoon of black pepper.

Salt and black pepper may be adjusted or omitted for your taste.
Coat in Panko Bread
Coat the mushrooms into a bowl of panko bread crumbs.
- Coat the same way as coating with the flour.
- Any type of bread crumbs may be used.
Fry the Mushrooms
Fry the mushrooms on med-low heat to ensure that the panko bread crumbs do not burn.
Fry until golden brown. About 15 to 20 mins.
Caution: You may be extremely tempted to try one, but after it is done let it sit so that it is not too hot to eat.
