How to Make a CHEAP Predator Call in Only FOUR STEPS!

NOTE: I do not approve of the hunting of animals for sport and pleasure. However, I make these calls for the use of necessity (need of food), and for wildlife photography.

ALSO, I have not official tested this out-in-the-field, so if you pro's out there can, please let me know how it works. It sounds very much like my pro predator call, and I have uploaded a WAV. so you can get an idea of what it will sound like when you have finished.

What You Will Need: Two Popsicle sticks
One sheet of paper
Duct tape
Marker(s)
Paint(optional)

Step One: Make the Reed!

Put the two Popsicle sticks side by side on the sheet of paper. Mark it right next to the outside. Fold it straight down and cut out to make a rectangle. Fold in half.

Step Two: Put It Together!

step 3-4.jpg
Sandwich the paper "Reed" Between the two Popsicle sticks so there is even hang-off on each short side. Lengthwise, make sure all of the hang-off is on one side. Tape the side with no hang-off together, taping up from the end about 1/2 to 1 inch.

Step Three: Mark It!

step 3-5.jpg
Paint if wanted. Put an arrow on both sides of the "call" both pointing to the closed/folded part of the paper. This is the end you will blow in.

Step Four: Test It Out!

Hold on to the taped area loosely wit one hand. Put opposite end up to your mouth and blow like you are blowing the low note on a Harmonica. Try it out until you feel comfortable and make adjustments if necessary.

Please, if you try this while "hunting", let me know if / how it works. No bad comments or flaming...but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and ideas are welcomed.
