Have you ever wanted to make some music but didn't have an instrument handy? Or looking for a fun and easy craft project to do with kids? Well then the glove-o-phone is for you.

You only need:

1 Latex (disposable) Glove
1 Rubber Band
1 Cardboard Tube (like a paper towel roll)
1 Straw
A Piece of Masking Tape

Assemble the Materials

Gather the materials so that you have everything ready to go.

Attach the Glove

Attach the base or wrist section of the glove to the end of the cardboard tube. Use the rubber band to secure it in place.

Cut a Hole in the Finger Tip of the Glove

Cut a small hole in the top of one of the finger tips of the glove. I think the middle finger works best, but feel free to experiment to see which one works well for you.

Attach the Straw to the Glove

Insert the straw into the hole at the tip of the finger. Attach it by wrapping masking tape around it so that it is secure.

You're Done!

Glove-o-phone complete!

To play, pull the glove tight over the top of the cardboard tube and blow. Your breath makes the glove vibrate and produces a glorious sound!

Play around with different sizes and lengths of tubes to produce a variety of pitches.

Enjoy the sweet sounds!
