How to Make a Lamp Out of a Barricade Light

I'm going to teach you how to make a cool lamp out of one of those yellow lights you see on the top of a barricade on the side of the road.

Getting the Materials

What you need:
1-A Barricade light.... I "found" mine on a construction site.
2-An old lamp with one of those clicky things to turn it on.
3-Other tools

Gut the Traffic Barricade

Take of the bottom by loosening the bolt off and pry up the tabs.
When you get that off take out the circuit board.
You may need to take off the top part its just screws
look in the pictures for help.

Disassemble the Old Lamp

Take out the old cord
Mine just unclipped out.
Look at the pictures

Build the New Barricade Lamp

Figure out a way to put the bulb housing inside the barricade lamp
I used a nail
now just cut the cord and get all the extra stuff off of it and put it thru the hole in the barricade lamp.
Now strip the cords ends and put wire caps on it.

Finishing Up

Now get a bolt ,two washers and a nut
put it in the hole ha that's what she said
now tighten it up to keep the wire from moving.
Cut the other hole off look at picture its picture 2d
put the bottom back on
put the reflector thing back on.
its a little tricky to put on you have to like turn it half way then pull it off

Done

Just plug it in and give it a test
Well there you go
you have a cool lamp now
