Cutting the Shirt
Begin by laying the shirt out on a flat surface with the back of the shirt facing you. Start on the bottom edge of the shirt and cut towards the neck of the shirt, splitting the back of the shirt in half.
Cutting the Edge
Fold the shirt in half so that the part of the shirt that you just cut is lined up evenly . While the shirt is folded cut strips into the edge. I cut strips that were about 1 1/2" long and 1/2" wide but the strips size can vary depending on how tight you want the shirt to be.
Cut Every Other Strip
Unfold the shirt. If you've followed the directions correctly both sides of the back of the shirt should now have strips along the edge. Now cut every other strip along the back. Make sure that you cut off the same strips on each side of the shirt i.e. you want to make sure that each strip on one side will line up with the strip on the other side.
Tie Knots
Line up the strips and tie each strip to the strip they face into knots.
(Optional) Cut Off the Neck
If the neck looks wrong with the shirt you might want to cut it off.
Finished!
All done! You can adjust the shirt by making the knots tighter or looser depending on how form fitting you want the shirt to be.
