How to Make an Mp3/Ipod Speakers (Jack to Speaker Wires)

Hi, I am TheRealTobobias showing you how to make an Mp3/Ipod Speakers. If you cant here music, you want speakers, check this easy an cheap project.

Ok, lets do it.

Materials

Sony MDR-EX51LP In-Ear Earphones (Black).jpg
For this project you will need:

A pair of small KCF speakers. (Can take them of the of some old pair of computer speakers).
Old cheap headphones.
Speaker wires.
Soldering Iron
Tape

Connecting the Wires

You will need to cut the headphones, taking of the earbuds.
You will have 4 wires:
Red and green to positive speaker cables.
Red - green and coil to negative speaker cables.

Check if they work... (Move the cables to check well). They should work but If they do not work connect:
Red and green to negative speaker cables.
Red - green and coil to positive speaker cables.

Do not forget to take aside the yellowish thread. (Optional: burn the tips)
Then solder everything well.

Putting It All In

Put everything inside a tin or whatever you want to put it in. Make a hole on the side like the photo. Take the jack out like in the photo. 

Plug the audio jack into your music system and enjoy.
