How to Make Your Own "Save Our State Parks" Buttons

Show your support for California State Parks by making and wearing these "Save Our State Parks" buttons. Put them on your backpack, sun hat, or t-shirt while you're out hiking and help spread the word that Californians won't stand for the closure of our beautiful state parks!

Button designs are based on artwork from the Save Our State Parks campaign website. Visit their website to find out how you can take action to support our state parks.

3.5" x 2.25" name badge holders (I reused ones that I got from a conference, but you can also buy them from office supply stores. These are the business card-sized name badge holders with a pin in the back.)

Download the PDF file containing the button artwork using the link below. This file contains two each of four different button designs, for a total of eight buttons.

If you would like to modify the design or the size of the buttons, you can download the original designs from the California State Parks Foundation website and make your own designs:

You can optionally download "Take Action" cards to give away to people who are interested in your "Save Our State Parks" buttons. Next, print out the button artwork and the "Take Action" cards.

Then, cut out the button artwork and the "Take Action" cards.

Slip the paper with the button design into the name badge holder.

If you printed out the "Take Action" cards, it's convenient to slip a few of them into the name badge holder too, behind the button. That way, you'll always have some on hand whenever someone asks where they can get a nifty button like yours, or what they can do to help save our state parks.
