How to Remove Playstation 3 HDD

Locate the HDD door on the left side of the PS3.

Step One

Using your finger nail or a small Flathead screwdriver, pop off the HDD cover.

Step 2

Remove the HDD door.

Step 3

Locate the metal tab and blue screw.

Step 4

Remove the blue screw.

Step 5

Pull open the tab and slide put the HDD.

Step 6

Now the HDD is removed and ready for replacement.
