How to Survive a Minor to Moderate Zombie Outbreak.

Oh sh**t!! You have a man covered in blood with a chuck missing from his neck banging on your window, looks like you may have zombies! (Note: If the attacker is short wearing all green he is likely Irish and just drunk no need to shoot him in the head just call the cops.)

These are the basic things you will need

1. Non-perishable food.
2. Weapons.
3. Survival kit
4. Odds and Ends

There are different kinds of food that's good in a "zombie situation"

1.MRE: Meal Ready to Eat, (aka meal refusing to exit)
The Meal, Ready-to-Eat  commonly known as the MRE  is a self-contained, individual field ration in lightweight packaging bought by the United States military for its service-members for use in combat or other field conditions where organized food facilities are not available. The MRE replaced the canned MCI or Meal, Combat, Individual rations in 1981 and is the intended successor to the lighter LRP ration developed by the U.S. Army for Special Forces and U.S. Army Ranger patrol units in Vietnam. (hard to find)

2. Canned Goods: Canning is a method of preserving food in which the food is processed and sealed in an airtight container. The process was first developed as a French military discovery by Nicolas Appert. The packaging prevents microorganisms from entering and proliferating inside.

3. Freeze dried food: In planning for the long-duration Apollo missions, NASA conducted extensive research into space food. One of the techniques developed was freeze drying. Action Products commercialized this technique, concentrating on snack food. The foods are cooked, quickly frozen, and then slowly heated in a vacuum chamber to remove the ice crystals formed by the freezing process. The final product retains 98% of its nutrition and weighs only 20% of its original weight. Today, one of the benefits of this advancement in food preparation includes simple nutritious meals available to handicapped and otherwise homebound senior adults unable to take advantage of existing meal programs (best of them all)

Heres a guide for you.

You can use what ever kinda gun you want here but just remember how much ammo you have.

1. primary weapon (shot guns or submachine guns are good here)
Why?: A shot gun is a very well rounded gun for fighting all kinds of zombies, one draw back is long loading time and small ammo capacity but is better suited to those who wish to avoid zombies and just wanna get away. An mp5 or other sub machine guns are better suited to those who are looting or battling for control of the city, advantages of this gun are large clips, versatility and light ammo and common ammo if you find the right kind.

2. secondary weapon (rifle)

A rifle is well suited to those holding up some where or as a hunting weapon for those who fled to a wilderness location (a marine is nothing without his rifle, a rifle is nothing without its marine

3. side arm (pistol (.45s are good)

A pistol. Is there any other weapon more loved by Americans? Maybe but it is one reliable weapon. When your $56,000 FN P90 jams up it's your hand gun that's gonna bail you out with its quick load and time ease of repair.
4. melee

Oh boy the katana a amine fans wet dream, and a zombies hot lunch. While running through a mob of the rotting dead may seem cool in reality light bladed weapons are very hard to control, while a machete or hachet heavy bladed weapons will smash the skull of any zombie.

Things you will need.
1. basic med kit (at the very least)
2 good lighter + fuel and flints (Zippo)
3. Camp mirror.
4. Every episode of Survivor man. (or you can just watch them now)
5. Smoke bombs (if they cant see you they cant get you)
6. Long rope.
7. hand axe (can be used as a weapon in a pinch)
8. Knowlage of the area you're going to. (what plants/bugs/animals you can eat what animals are deadly, terrain etc)
9. secondary fire starting tool (magnesium flint stick)
10. Hunting knife and multi-tool
11. Folding camp shovel
12. Saw
