How to Get Wikipedia Back During SOPA Blackout
In Protest to the SOPA bill Wikipedia has disabled its english site for 24 hours starting wednesday January 18th 05:00 UTC. Here is a fast and easy way to get it back
Disable Javascript in Your Browser
to do it in IE. Go to Tools->internet options ->security tab ->custom level...Set scripting -> active scripting to disable
To do it in google chrome: wrench -> options -> under the hood -> content settings -> manage exceptions (under javsscript section)
add en.wikipedia.org and set to block
I'm not going to show how to do it other browsers. Google to see how to do it in your browser if not either of the above.
That's it.. Please understand I'm not trying to disregard the importance of the SOPA protest. I wrote this so that people can stay productive today.
