How to Use Particle Playground in Adobe After Effects

Today I will be teaching you how Particle Playground works in Adobe After Effects.

Step 1

The effect shown is called particle playground.  An easy way to find this is use the search bar above the arrow to find it.

Step 2

Click where the arrow shows to change the color of your particles.

Step 3

The sections shown are what allow you to control the velocity and move the position.

Step 4

The particle exploder controls the exploding particles you create by enabling exploding particles.  To enable these particles follow the blue arrow and add a layer of exploding particles.

Step 5

The option shown with the blue arrow allows you to control gravity.  This could be reversing it, intensifying and even shifting the centre of gravity.

You are now ready to use Particle Playground in your movie.
