Supplies
- Photopea
Finding Two Animals
To find the two animal pictures I suggest using the advanced image search so you can choose the perfect sized images so that it will fit your canvas. You should also choose two animals that have similar color fur or skin, that way it will not look so inconsistent.
Inserting Pictures
Once you have found the two animals you will photoshop you will need to save them. Once you have saved then you will need to go into photopea, and then will need to insert the images into photopea. You can also just copy the image and then press ctrl+v to paste them into photopea.
Lasso Tool
After inserting the two images you choose, you will choose the lasso tool and cut out any of the unwanted parts of the image. You use the lasso tool by using your mouse to circle around any part of the picture you don't want and pressing the backspace key.
Editing the Animals
In this tutorial you will keep the elk's body and keep the camel's head. You will need to use the lasso tool to edit out the body, and the rest of the animal picture. You will also need to edit the elks head out. Make sure that the camel is the first layer and then the elk is the second layer, so that the camel's head can go over the elk's body.
Finishing Touches
After fitting the camel's head onto the elk's body you will need to choose the clone tool. In order to use the clone tool you will need to press the alt key and click on which part of the image you want to clone, in this case you will want to clone the blue sky in the background. You want to fill in any of the white spaces with the clone tool.
Last Step
Lastly you will want to select the Blur tool, and blur the area around the neck where you connected the camel's head with the elk's body, so it doesn't make it seem as obvious. Once you have done this, you will have made your first Hybrid Animal.
