Hydro Dipping - Plate

Buy/take all of the following materials

  • Acrylic or oil based spray paint (These can be different colours and as many as you want)
  • A large bucket
  • Warm water
  • White plate
  • Gloves

Collect Your Materials

A) collect all materials .jpg

Collect your materials

These include:

  • Acrylic or oil based spray paint
  • A large bucket
  • Warm water
  • White plate
  • Gloves

Water

Fill up your bowl/box with warm water.

Shake Cans

Shake your cans of spray paint for 2 minutes.

Spray the paint. Make sure that you have a clear coverage and that the colours are evenly spread out.

Dip in the Plate

slowly dip in the plate, making sure that every spot is covered.

Peeling

D) peel off.jpg

Peel off all of the excess paint which is hanging off the sides of the plate.

Dry

Let the plate dry without anything touching it.

Water

Add more warm water to your bowl/dish.

Spray Paint

Spray another layer of spray paint and get a thick coverage of paint.

C) slowly dip in.jpg

Dip in the other side of the plate.

Peeling

The plate should come out looking like this. Then peel off all of the excess paint dripping off the side.

Drying

Let your plate and then it's ready to be used.
