IJDMTOY Hyundai Genesis License Plate Tow Hole Adapter Install
If you hate the front license plate and don't want to drill any holes, the front license plate tow hook adapter is a great option that does not require you to drill any holes into your bumper.
Before you get started, you will need a wrench and a hex tool.
Pop off the tow hole cover.
Insert the tow hook adapter bar. There is only one way you can twist the adapter bar so the threading can catch on. You will notice that you will be able to turn the bar about 3-4 times. To further tighten the bar, use a wrench (3/4") to tighten all the way.
The tow hook adapter bar is designed to be more compact that the stock tow hook bar because it's meant to just hold the license plate so it doesn't have to be heavy duty.
Choose the best location to insert the license plate bracket. We eventually decided on the center location and tightened it with a Philips screwdriver and washer.
Secure the license plate onto the bracket. This assembly locks in with the #10 lug wrench adapter and S24 hex size. Once you secure the license plate onto the mount, it becomes extremely difficult to steal the parts.
You can see that there are no modifications involved with this license plate tow hole adapter. Now you can have a fresh new look without having to do anything permanent.
