In order to increase the interest of soldering, ICSTATION has designed a cartoon tree and cartoon dog shaped PCB, so that you can enjoy the soldering process and the finished product. After the it is finished, it looks like a dog swinging on a tree, which is very cute and interesting.

DESIGN PRINCIPLE】 The electromagnetic swing kit operates on the principles of electromagnetic induction, harnessing the fascinating properties of Hall effect sensors. As the magnetic field fluctuates, it pushes the swing back and forth. This is the best proof of electromagnetic induction in physics.

RGB LED LIGHTS】The lights on the tree is static, it make it look like an apple tree. The lighting on the baseplate is dynamic, making the whole a vibrant spectacle that enriches the visual experience. In addition, you can adjust the brightness of the light on the baseplate with the knob.

STEM Education Tools】Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the electromagnetic swing serves as an invaluable tool for STEM education. It offers a hands-on approach to understanding electromagnetic principles, providing students with a tangible demonstration of scientific concepts. Through experimentation and exploration, learners gain practical insights into the world of physics and electronics, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.

CREATIVE PRESENT】Searching for a present that transcends the ordinary? Look no further than the electromagnetic swing kit. Whether commemorating a birthday or adding flair and vitality to a workspace, it exudes charm and sophistication. Crafted with ingenuity and care, it stands as a testament to creativity and innovation, making it an unforgettable present for any occasion.

Identify the Positive(anode) and Negative(cathode) Lead of LED.

12.png

The leads of the LED must be installed correctly, otherwise the LED cannot be turned on.Here are four methods as following:

12.1>.According to the length of the LED lead to distinguish. The longer pin is positive(anode) lead. The shorter pin is negative(cathode) lead.

12.2>.Identify the negative(cathode) of the LED is to look into the plastic case where one can see that the negative(cathode) is much thicker/bigger inside the plastic case than the anode lead.

12.3>.Identify by edge of plastic case. The negative(cathode) lead of the LED should be the pin nearest the flat on the plastic case.

12.4>.Test by 3V battery or multimeter. The pin is positive(anode) lead which has connect to the positive of 3V if LED can light up after connect 3V power supply.(LED should not be powered directly from the 3V for a short time:less then 0.5second)

12.5>.It is positive(anode) where the white mark “+” pointing to on PCB.

Install 8pcs 3mm Red LED at LED9-LED16 on PCB HE010-

13.png

The Longer pin is positive pole connect to ‘ + ’ pad.

Install 8pcs 5mm RGB LED at LED1-LED8 on PCB HE010-A

14.png

The Longer pin is positive pole connect to ‘ + ’ pad.

Install 1pcs B102K RV0931 Potentiometer at R1 on PCB Another Side.

Bend AH3144E Hall Sensor’s Pin About 1.5cm.

16.png

Install AH3144E Hall Sensor at U1

17.png

Note: The side with silk screen(small area) facing downwards. The direction must not be misplaced

Fix 4pcs M3*20mm Copper Pillar by 4pcs M3*6mm Screw.

18.png

Connect 5cm 24AWG Wire From H1 at PCB HE010-C to H2 at PCB HE010-A

19.png

Note: The wire sequence must follow the diagram.

Fix PCB HE010-C on PCB HE010-A by 4pcs M3*6mm Screw.

20.png

AH3144E Hall Sensor Must Be Placed Above the Metal Axis of the Coil

21.png

Melt As Much Tin As Possible on 4 Pads on PCB HE010-A.

22.png

Insert PCB HE010-B Into HE010-A With the Two Silk Screen ‘ a ’ in the Same Side Which Are Used to Determine Installation Direction.

23.png

Fix 1pcs D12*H4*I4mm Circular Magnet on PCB HE010-D by M3*6mm Screw.

24.png

Note: Insert the screw from the magnet groove side. Otherwise, it will not work properly.
