Welcome to another blog. I hope you guys are doing good….

So, it's time to do something interesting. Here in this blog I will guide you how to make an IR controlled remote. Through which you can control your AC as well as DC appliances.

Supplies

  • IR Receiver
  • LED
  • IC
  • Breadboard
  • Resistor
  • Jumper wires
  • Battery
  • Capacitor
  • IR Remote

Ordering PCB From JLCPCB

Ordering PCb from JLCPCB is quite simple and easy.

You just have to add your gerber file (max upto 6 layers) , select layer and add to cart then checkout securely and the sum. That's it no your designed PCB is at your doorstep.

IR Receiver

ir rcvr.png

An infrared receiver, or IR receiver, is hardware that sends information from an infrared remote control to another device by receiving and decoding signals. In general, the receiver outputs a code to uniquely identify the infrared signal that it receives.

IR Remote

ir vrmt.png

(InfraRed remote control) A handheld, wireless device used to operate audio, video and other electronic equipment within a room using light signals in the infrared (IR) range. Infrared light requires line of sight to its destination. Low-end remotes use only one transmitter at the end of the unit and have to be aimed directly at the equipment. High-quality remotes have three or four powerful IR transmitters set at different angles to shower the room with signals.

By following the above circuit diagram and using those hardware we have built this IR remote controlled LED system.

Till now we have seen how to make an IR remote controlled system. Though we have developed all those things on a breadboard. Now to its time to use our fabricated PCBs from JLCPCB. Earlier in this article I have shown you how to design your own PCBs from JLCPCB and get it deliver at your doorstep. I also have designed my desired PCB for this project. Let's use that PCB and take our project to the next level.

PCB Soldering

It’s time to make our PCB ready by soldering all those components we need for our product. Soldering is an easy step. You just have to put the right thing in the right place and fix it with solder.

Here I the circuit diagram has been shown, according to the diagram we have to do connections of all our components.

Components Used

  • Relay
  • Diode
  • LED
  • Transistor
  • Resistor
  • Capacitor
  • Two pin port
