Cookie-Dough Slice

This no-bake cookie dough slice is so easy, and tastes delicious!

Ingredients:
½ cup of room temperature butter
¾ cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of plain flour
1 can (395g) of sweetened condensed milk
2 cups of small chocolate chips
1 ½ cups of melting chocolate

Step 1

Step 1. Line your tray with baking paper (an 8x8 inch tray).

In an electric mixer beat together the butter and sugar until it is fluffy and relatively smooth, it should take between 3 and 5 minutes.

Step 2. Beat in the vanilla until it is well combined.

Slowly Alternate the Flour and Milk

Step 3. Turn the mixer down to a lower speed and mix in the flour and condensed milk through in alternations.

Add the Chocolate Chips

Step 4. Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.

Press the mixture into the prepared pan and it pat down, if the mixture is too sticky lightly dust some flour onto your hands to pat the mixture down.

Refridgerate

Step 5. Cover the pan with cling wrap, and place in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight.

Step 6. Melt the melting chocolate in the microwave, on a medium heat microwave, heat it for 40 seconds then stir, and heat it for another 20 seconds and stir again.

Pour the chocolate over the cooled slice and spread evenly, place in the fridge for another 20 minutes or until firm.

Makes about 30 slices, enjoy!
