Sugru - Archery Release Comfort Grip

A while back I picked up this really nice Insatiable 2 release that I use with almost all of my bows but I find that it could use a bit of comfort on the fingers. I decided to break out a pack of black Sugru.

Press and Contour the Sugru

Break off a small piece of Sugru for each finger section and press them lightly into each section while forming the shape you want . I left the index finger out as it is not necessary for myself. I also kept the Sugru thin as I did not want it to thick changing the dimensions of my release.Pick the bow up, put the wrist strap on, clip the release on, and pull the string back with your hand in the normal position allowing the Sugru to press itself into your fingers forming a perfect contour around each finger. (Please remember not to let the string go and dry fire the bow, you can seriously hurt yourself and destroy your bow!)

I used this nice little tool that came with the Ditto+ 3D printer to clean up and flatten the edges. Looks and feels great!! No more sore fingers after hours of shooting!
