Install Bumper Quick Release Fasteners
Quick Release Fasteners are great for people who need to remove and reinstall their bumpers quickly and efficiently. They're great for front and rear bumpers to give it that JDM look as well. You can find a set of Quick Release Fasteners on Amazon with tons of different colors to choose from.
Here are the supplies you will need to get this started:
Power drill
Small Philips screwdriver
Small wrench
Rubber sealant
Flat top screw driver
Measuring tape
Black Marker
Drill bit
Undo the inner fender wells to gain better access to the back of the bumper. Remove the clips along the side with a flat top screw driver.
Use a flexible measuring tape to measure the desired point on bumper and fender.
Mark the locations on your bumper and fender.
Use a small size pilot bit to make a tiny hole in the middle of the X mark.
Get the correct bit size of the screws in your Quick Bumper Release Fasteners package.
Drill a bigger hole.
Use a paint pen to paint the edges of the hole so they don't rust.
Secure the support and screw into the bumper and fender.
Place your hand where you opened the fender so you can hold on to the nut and tighten it up.
Put some rubber sealant to preserve the fasteners.
These Quick Release Bumper Fasteners give this Subaru STi a great look for the track and installation is very straightforward.
