Internal XOSVP for the Original Xbox

this is a modification to DiscoStarslayer's XOSVP project which provides the best analog hd output experience as the professional gamers and youtubers say.
my edition gives the option to use your proprietary high quality XBOX component . my version provides whatever your high quality component cable provides for audio , since in the original project the only way to get audio was through digital optical cable !

you should enable hd modes(component mode) both hardware wise and also inside of the original xbox dash(choosing 480p and 720p) , i would recommend to choose correct aspect ratio if you are using a wide screen hd tv or monitor. if you got your console modded with 128mb ram and a 1400 Mhz cpu i believe you can play 720p games with this mod very smoothly but if you went that far by i would recommend getting an internal Makemhz HDMI solution which is the best digital solution available since its a digital to digital solution but if you don't want spend that much money or you want to keep the analog port i believe you should consider doing this mod !

soldering iron a PCB and etching materials ...

its not a hard task just download the pdf file and make yourself a homemade pcb. i have shown how it looks like when its all done. the only components which should be in the correct directions are the chip itself and the electrolytic capacitor the other components don't have polarity or something but i did solder them with my OCD obsession so all letters are from left to right ! you don't have to if your brain is not messed up like mine.

considering you have populated all components on my pcb :
first get a tiny wire to connect 13 to 14 and 11 to 12 actually dont worry about shorting them together since pins 12 and 14 are ground and what you are doing is grounding 13 and 11 so at the end of the night all 4 of them are connected together to enable hd component mode you also need to go to Xbox dashboard to enable 480p and 720p in software side of the story. since you get those option only when you have connected the console to tv via component cable and the component cable only works when either inside of the component cable or inside of the console in motherboard those 4 pins are connected together and i believe all good quality component cables for xbox do have that inside of the cable's male side of plug and be aware that by doing it in your console you are choosing this mode permanently the only other output modes you still can get are composite mode and RGBs mode if your RGBs cable has a grounded pin 9 alongside of 11 and 13 inside itself ,so i believe s-video mode is out of reach by doing it inside the console!

as i say in my video you should desolder those 3 inductors be careful not to desolder the 4th inductor which has a glassy orange look if you want to get composite video since its responsible for filtering composite video, just desolder those black ones all 3 of them and don't lose them or break them we will reuse the in our project , and as i show in pictures from left to right our colors are Blue Red and Green which can be a little tricky since we are used to see those colors in either Red Green Blue or Red Blue Green order .this made me to make a mistake in my video which i had corrected myself while editing don't say its easy to remember because its not , i didn't notice until i turned on the console and the colors were weird so keep yourself concentrated since the color order on my custom made pcb (actually the chip itself) is different . as you see in picture for my PCB from top to down are Green(Y) Blue(Pb) Red(Pr) , i also attached a photo of final product as you see we are getting the power from pin 1 on bottom side of motherboard the only pin which has square pad others have circle pads and for the grounding, yellow wire is attached to the closest GND.
just don't short anything or your xbox will be damaged , double check the wires don't be so damn cocky! nobody is perfect and don't forget to reattach you mod chip if you have one and you took it out while working on motherboard or your xbox wont boot (1.6 versions) and you would think you have done something wrong on wiring the motherboard
