International Space Station With Rocket
So in this instructible I made the ISS and also a rocket above it. I made it because I really like space.
Supplies
The only website needed is https://www.tinkercad.com It is really useful for 3d printing and designing
Base
First I made a base for the ISS. I made mine not too big, and lifted of the blue grid so I would have more room.
Main Beam
Next I added the main beam of the ISS on top of the base.
Bar Holders
Next I added holders for two handel bars which are 4 it total and are oriented.
Extenders
Next I added two hexagon prisms and one beam that goes through everything.
Details and Buttons
After that I added some buttons and a satellite dish to pick up signals.
Back Beams
Now we are going to work on the back. Here I added the main beam for the back and some hexagonal prisms along with a smaller beam inside the larger beam that is going to hold our solar panels.
Details
here I added some buttons and details to the back beams along with the same satellite dish we used previously here.
Back Panels
Here are the basic back panels. They are just blue rectangles orientated.
Back Panel Details
Here are some lines to separate the panels to make them look more realistic.
Big White Rectangles
Next add two thin white rectangles coming off the back
Triangles on Them
Add triangles to the white rectangles.
Decoration
Here I just added some decoration
Side Panel Bars and Beams
Here is a lot of steps. First add a white long rectangle shifted 45 degrees. Then at the end add a hexagonal prism. Coming off of the beam are two white rectangles that are orientated 45 degrees. Between the two rectangles is a shape made of two half ovals and two squares. this is where the grey beams will come off for our major solar panels.
Panels
After that add two grey beams (one coming of of the weird shape and another of the hexagonal prism. Underneath the blue solar panels add some orange rectangles directly under it.
Details for Panels
Similar to the back solar panels, add lines to make them more realistic.
Copy Paste
Copy paste the bottom panels and put them on the top
Copy Paste
Now, copy paste that entire right section and flip it, then put it on the other side.
Scope
Now we are going to make the scope that will help us see. it consists of 5 cylinders, two for the scopes body, two for the joints, and one for the lens.
Gas Tank
Next we are going to make a tank. It is made up of 5 cylinders, 4 for the storage, and one cross beam holding the outer two. The tank is placed under the scope and onto the base
New Platform
Now lets work on the rocket. Load up a new project. You don't have to, but it will make building a whole lot easier.
Main Body
Create a white cylinder slightly of the ground.
Large Tip
Next add a nose.
Rocket Boosters
Now lets work on the rocket boosters start with a simple white cylinder.
Rocket Boosters
Now add a black donut shape under it, but not touching
Rocket Boosters
Add a black cylinder connecting these two shapes.
Rocket Boosters
Add a white cone in-between the two black shapes. Only the edge of the cone should stick out.
Copy Paste Rocket Boosters
Copy paste the booster twice and put them around.
Wings
For the wings, use the drawing tool to make them, and then outline them in black
Beam
For decoration, add a black beam down the middle.
Cockpit and Tip
Now we are going to add the piolet seat and a tip. The cockpit is a black circle inside of the cone tip we made earlier. After that add a smaller version of the white cone on top of it but black.
Copy Paste
Copy paste the rocket to the old ISS and orientated however way you like.
Finish
And Boom. Your done.
