Iron Man DIY PC Case Mod

Tired of your old PC tower?

Turn it into your very own Iron Man Case Mod. Follow these simple steps.

What you will need:

  1. Old Computer
  2. Dremel Tool 
  3. Spray Paint (red/gold)
  4. Pencil
  5. 600 Grit Sandpaper
  6. DIY Iron Man Kit

Removing the Side Panel of the PC

Remove the side panel of the PC. You may need a screwdriver most side panels slide off easily.

Tracing & Cutting

Tracing Steps: Taking your pencil, place the arc reactor from your Iron Man Kit on the PC side panel. Firmly press down on the arc reactor with one hand and trace around it with the pencil.

Cutting Steps:  You will need the Dremel Tool for this part. When your cutting make sure to take your time and be precise. Dremeling out the plastic stay on the inside of the trace line. Make sure to test how the arc reactor lies in the hole you dremel, you may even have to sand the edges to make sure the arc reactor is fitting properly.

Sanding & Painting

Sanding Step: Take 600 Grit sand paper and sand the entire PC tower that will be painted.



Painting Step: Use a plastic bonding spray paint, take your time and be patient when painting. Spray entire PC Red and Trim with Gold accents. Let DRY.

Wiring the PC

You will need to unplug ONE of the DVD/CD/HARD-DRIVE Power wires connected inside your PC, and connect the new power wire provided in the Iron Man DIY Kit.

Wiring the Arc Reactor

Once everything is in place, plug the arc reactor into the provided wiring harness. Return the side panel. Enjoy your new PC casemod.
