Jazz Up Your BONES
I love Dominoes...I think one of the things I like most about them is the way they feel in my hands. I like the weight and the noise they make when they click together. Most are made from "bone" , ivory, heavy plastic or wood. I was recently give a set of dominos that were made of a very lightweight wood and they didn't quite cut it for me, soooo, I decided to add a little GLITTER to spice them up.
Supplies
set of dominoes
elmers glue
glitter
cup for glue
small brush, stiff bristols works good
scrabble letter racks
Apply Glue
use the brush to paint the glue on all 4 edges of each tile. then carefully dip them into a little sprinkling of glitter.
Drying
Place them on the flat edge of a scrabble tile rack to dry. You need to balance them so the wet glue and glitter do not stick to the table.
When all tiles are dry tap off extra glitter.
Play a Game
When glitter and glue are dry you are ready to play. Again I use the scrabble tile holders to hold the bones. Because of the glitter on all 4 sides of the domino they won't stand on the table. ( I happen to have some extra scrabble letter tile holders left over from a different INSTRUCTABLE I made called Scrabble Lovers Key Hookrack, please check it out in the Glue Gun Challenge)
OMT
Your domino tiles may not fit back in the box due to the increased size of the glitter embellishment. Don't let that awesome little box go to waste. decorate it with a slice of an old photo and more GLITTER!
