Jean Skirt Into Backpack

First you will need a jean skirt, old backpack that you can take the straps from, old pair of kids jeans, exacto knife or seam ripper and e6000 glue.

Getting Your Pieces Ready.

In my eagerness I didn't document breaking down the blue straps so I am having to use a red bag now. You will need to use the seam ripper for the hang tag thing on the top of the bag. You will also need to cut the straps off the same way. At the bottom of the bag you will need that triangle thing to attach to your bag. The bottom of the bag you will need to cut the jeans all the way across.

Attaching the Bottom.

Turn the bag inside out. Use the jean you cut and make sure the knee part is facing the correct direction and sew all the way around.

Adding Straps

Get the straps you cut, now sew them on your bag where you feel comfortable, I used another backpack for placement. Since I am not a sewing person, I used e6000 glue after I stitched on the straps, just to make it stronger.

Adding the Zipper

I went with a plastic sport zipper. I made sure to get one long enough for the skirt.

DONE!

Now that it is done, I added some patches! They just make everything better!
