Jim Beam Apple Butter

Here's a simple way to make your own homemade apple butter. What makes this apple butter the best? It's made from healthy ingredients and added Jim Beam for a special surprise!

Gather Ingredients

Crockpot

3lbs of apples sliced (Fuji or Gala)

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ginger powder

1/2 nutmeg

2 tbsp stevia (or sugar)

pinch of salt

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup Jim Beam Apple

Put Ingredients in the Crockpot

Slice the apples (you can leave the skin on!)

Add spices, water, and bourbon.

Stir everything together.

Cook Apple Butter

Cover and cook on low for 9 hours.

Stir

Stir occasionally.

The apples will begin to cook down.

Puree

Use an immersion blender to puree the apple butter.

If you don't have an immersion blender, you can use a blender.

Let the apple butter cook on low for 1 hour.

Storage

Store your apple butter in the refrigerator (if it lasts through the day) for up to 2 weeks.

You can keep additional apple butter in the freezer until you are ready to use.
