This dish is very much by its name from the region Kabul , but made by mostly all people of world specially very much famous in Asia.

I tried this dish first time with chickpeas but i personally like it without chick peas . Well it does tastes very good with chickpeas too.

Its healthy and really yummy as a main course. Its a blend of sweet and spicy taste. Do give a try ... Eat n Enjoy.

Ingredients

1.Rice -350 to 400 grams

2.Beef (boiled with salt , a bit of gharam masala powder and 1tsp of ginger powder)- 300- 400 grams

3. Raisins- 10- 15 grams

4. Almonds-10 - 15 grams

5 Walnut- 10 - 15 grams

6. Sugar-1 1/2 tsp

7. Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp

8. Cumin Powder- 1 tsp

9. red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp

10. Salt- ( as per taste)- 1 tsp

11. beef stalk- 450 ml

12 onion - 1 medium size

13.oil- 3 tbsp

14. Carrot ( Julian cut) - 100 grams or 3 medium size

Ingredients (for Raita)
Yogurt

Salt

mint leaves

green chili cucumber

Method

Method

Heat the vessel and add 3 tbsp of oil and add sugar in the oil , when sugar starts melting a bit start adding the carrots and the dry fruits in it and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium highflame.

Now take them out in an aluminum foil and close the foil . Keep this aside till we start cooking our rice.

In the same vessel now add the boiled beef and along with it a little bit of beef stalk. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium high flame.

Now, In the same vessel add the sliced onions and fry until a bit golden brown, add in the rice now and the dry ingredients (that is salt, cumin powder, garam masala powder and red chili powder) . Give it a stir.

Now add in the beef stalk and give a stir. Add the two packs of aluminum foil containing beef and other of carrots and dry fruits. Lid it and let it cook for 15 minutes on medium low flame.

Take it out in bowl and add some plain rice on top . At the end open the aluminum foils and cover the rice with the beef and dry fruits and carrots.

Method ( for Raita)
Add in a mixture grinder mint leaves and greeen chili and one tbsp of yougut. Grind every thing well . Now add this mixture to the remaining yogurt . mix well . Now add chopped cucumber.
