Place Your Letters
Time to get creative. Design one for your friends or yourself.
Instructions

- Note that you can find the red base in the same category in the Shapes Panel if you don't see it.
- To make positioning the letters a little easier, change the snap grid setting from 1.0 to 0.25.
- After placing a letter, the arrow keys on the keyboard will let you nudge the letters in any direction.
- Continue to the next step.
Resize the Red Base
Great! Now adjust the size of the red base to fit your name.
Instructions
- It's easy to resize the base using the black dot on the right of the model
- Click on the shape to select it, then drag the black dot until the red base matches the size of the letters.
- Continue to the next step.
Clean Up
Now do a little clean up work by removing any left over letters at the top.
Instructions
- You can click and drag your mouse across all the letters to select them.
- Then, press the delete key on your keyboard to remove the selected letters.
- Continue to the next step.
Group the Remaining Shapes
Now group the left over shapes into a single object.
Instructions
- Select all remaining shapes.
- Group them together by clicking on the "Group" button on the toolbar.
- Continue to the next step.
