Klask for Three Players

Our turtorial is on how to make a game similar to air hockey, but much smaller and size and for three players. Each player gets one side of the triangle to move around in, and you control your piece from the bottom using magnets.

First get a 3ftx2ft peice of 3.5mm plywood. But if you have access to Baltic birch plywood then use that for a more consistent cut. Then if you have access to a laser cutter you will be able to complete this process. Also get a hot glue gun and about 10 glue sticks. You will also need a 3d printer and 6 small magnets (around 10mm).

The first step in Inkscape is to create a triangle with each side of the same length. We made each side 369mm. Then make the walls underneath. They don’t need to be wide, only around an inch, and should span from the corner to the middle. Then make the taller walls to go around each corner to stand the game up. The less wide they are makes it easier to play in the corners which is better. They can be between 15 and 20 cm around, just tall enough to fit your fist underneath. 6 need to be made. 

The files for the magnets just need to have a cylinder for the base, with an opening big enough to fit the magnets you are using, but you can change the design if you want as long as they can still hit the ball easily. There needs to be 6, 3 on the bottom and 3 on the top. The design for the 3 on the bottom can also be different because it is the handle for you. 

Take the six cut out legs and glue them onto the platform on each corner. make sure to glue it well so I doesn't fall apart. Then use the supports to keep the platform structurally sound. Place the supports underneath the platform with each corner connecting to the legs and supports.

So the best way to do this is to first assemble the walls and goals. to do this you must use a hammer and when you're done assembling you must hammer it into the slots. After you add the walls you must glue very carefully so you they do not fall off.

glue or tape the magnets into the slot in each of the 6 paddles. Make sure that each pair of paddles with magnets connect with magnets and don't push away from eachother.
