K’nex Transforming Ninja Star

I made this when tinkering with K’nex, it can be used for throwing or as a fidget toy.

Parts for a six point star:

red rods: 30

red connectors: 42

blue rods: 11

(optional) 1 rubber band

for a extra point add:

5 red rods

7 red connectors

2 blue rods

Assemble one of the points as shown in the pictures, then repeat 6 times.

Assemble the 6 parts as shown, at this step you can choose to be done and have it be a fidget toy, or you can keep going and add rubber bands to your star.

Add the rubber bands, any size works but I prefer the rainbow loom brand ones, depending on the size of the rubber band you may have to place it somewhere else, but for the size that I used the spot shown in the 3rd and 4th picture work well. Enjoy your new ninja star! :-)
