Knives, Magnets and Order

Hello, everybody!
Today on repertoaire: kitchen drawer. And inside bulk of fine knives tumbling. What a mass! No respact to fine tools! Lets make order! I ordered new magnets 12mm dia, Strong. Very strong. Made form rare earth - neodymium. Why so strong? You shall see...

Magnets chosen- arrived. But, first to test! Glass is 8mm thick and as you can see - they hold!

I purchase the plate from the same material as kitchen (olive veneer chipboard 100x400x19mm), PVC edged. Drills, .. and let's go!

Holes are from back side deep 18mm. Magnets patiently waiting. I choose 5 lines with 3 holes- wide total 85 mm. For 5 knives. You can chose how much you want....

This is thousand word photo. Magnets are in own places. Hole is 18mm deep and baord is 19 mm thick
1 mm cover!  Now you can imagine why magets are so strong...

Prepared for fastening. Wall bolts got plastic cups. For decoration.
Final test. It hold.  You can put 5 knives on...and what, for good sake, hold this knives?

Well, what you think? Can you see magnets?  Is the board surface clean? Are the knives glued??
