Kool-Aid Play-Doh

Have you ever wanted to make your own Play-Doh which is safe for your kids, just in case they try to eat it. Well, now you can with this affordable recipe which has low cost ingredients. This Play-Doh will last up to two months or longer. Enjoy!

Step 1: Gather Ingredients and Materials

Materials-

- measuring cup

- a tablespoon

- a sauce pan

Ingredients-

- 1/2 cup of salt

- 2 cups of water

- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

- 2 cups of sifted flour

- 2 tablespoons of alum

- Kool-Aid powder (colors of your choice)

* Extra flour may be necessary to make Doh less sticky.

Step 2: Add the Salt and Water Together

- Add 1/2 cup of salt and 2 cups of water to a saucepan.

Step 3: Boil the Water

-Boil the water until salt dissolves, then remove from heat.

Step 4: Add the Rest of the Ingredients

-Add the ingredients alum, flour, and vegetable oil. Then stir slightly and put in the fridge for 5 to 10 min. to cool.

Step 5: Now Knead

-Knead your Doh until it has a smooth consistency. Lightly flour if Doh starts sticking.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

-Now put your homemade Doh into an old Play-Doh container... and voilĂ ! Your own edible homemade Play-Doh.
