L293D/NE Motor Driver Pin Diagram

In this Instructable I will show you the Pin Diagram of L293D motor Driver.

Before we get started you should understand that L293D motor driver have 16 pins with functions in anticlockwise direction as shown in the image above.

Following are pin function

1 - Enable 1,2 (+5V)

2 - Input 1

3 - Output 1(Motor1 pin 1)

4 - Ground(0v)

5 - Ground (0V)

6 - Output 2(Motor 1 pin 2)

7 - Input 2

8 - VCC2{+9v(+ve terminal of another battery other than the one connected to arduino or equivalent)}

9 - Enable 3,4 (+5V)

10 - Input 3

11 - Output 3(Motor 2 Pin 2)

12 - Ground(0V)

13 - Ground(0v)

14 - Output 4(Motor 2 Pin 2)

15 - Input 4

16 - VCC1(+5V)
