LED Bouncy Ball Air Cannon Ammo. Easy

This is a light up bouncy ball i made to shoot out of my Air Cannon at night. You could use it for other things, but i only use them to shoot out of my air cannon made to shoot bouncy balls.

This is very easy, and can also be done in many different ways.

Although they don't look like they are lighting up that well believe me they are. My camera is just a pos.

What you needThis can very. I have done this many different ways.
One clear bouncy ball.I am using a green clear
One Led plus batteries. I am using 2 hearing aid batteries
A knife Or some thing to cut into the ball
Hot glue gun This makes it easy but isn't needed
Screw driver Also not needed.
Tape, a rubber band, or wire. Electrical tape is the best but i have used a rubber band before, and this time i used wire. I am all out of tape.
I highly recommend electrical tape.

The reason i say "This isn't needed" is because i have done this so many different ways. When i am hanging out with friends an they want to shoot the air cannon at night i don't always have every thing so i use what i have like i do this time.

I start by cutting a X into the ball.

Now i start a hole an dig into the ball. The deeper the better but be careful it is easy to break the ball. I also use a pen that i cut a section out to help dig out the hole. You don't need that but it is easier for me.

Gently poke at it.... an dig her out. If you mess the ball up still try to use it.

While turning it push it into the ball.

I use the screw driver to push the led as far in as possible.

Next, I like to coat the inside of the ball with hot glue on top of the led. Also i prefer to put a little hot glue on the batteries to hold them together for the next step.

Now i hot glue the battery to one leg of the led. Fold the legs over.

Now i wrap the legs with a very small wire i had laying around. Then i covered it all in hot glue. Although i recommend hot gluing it a tad bit then tapping it.

Now I insert it into my cannon an fire it. I can shoot it straight up an wait for it to come down. And most of the time it stays light up. Unless you shoot a wall or some thing like that. I will try to video it but i doubt the camera can catch it.
