LED Light Strip Magnetic Mount
Magnetic mount for LED light strip. I tried using the adhesive backing on my bed frame, but did not work well and got messy. This solution works well for me because it is clean, low profile and easily removable/replaceable.
Supplies
- 3d Printer (I have a Creality CR-6 Max)
- Filament (I used Natural PLA+)
- Magnet (5x3mm Round) You could use a different size, but would need to redraw the model
- Hammer and Punch slightly smaller than diameter of magnet
- Computer with internet access for TINKERCAD
Design in TINKERCAD

- Round Roof (L10 x W15 x H6)

I had trouble sticking at first so I printed the first layer slower and added a brim

Use the hammer and punch to make a hole with a slightly smaller diameter than the magnets.
Then push the magnet into the hole (Optional use wood glue)

Set up smart plug if you wish to control it with a Smart Home Device
