Hi all,

Don’t you wanna make an awesome birthday card using paper circuit? Let’s make it !

Required Materials

Drawing a Cupcake

Draw a cupcake on the cardboard then cut it out.

Stick the cupcake on the cardboard with glue. Make two holes in the cardboard to put the led by using a needle. Pass the led through the holes.

It’s time to make the circuit! :)

Draw the circuit on the cardboard as shown in the picture below. Then stick the copper tape by following the way of the circuit. (The circuit must be complete for the led to light up.)

The LED has two legs coming out of its colored bulb - notice that one of them is longer than the other one - this is the positive (+) side of the LED. The shorter side is the negative (-). We will connect these on the + and - sides of our copper tape paths.

if your LED isn’t lighting up, check the tape connections.
