Laser Cut 3D Holiday Cards

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Holidays this year!

We made these 3D Holiday cards out of our TroWood material. These cards are perfect to send to friends, family, and coworkers to spread holiday cheer. Mail them flat for your recipients to assemble.

• CO2 laser cutter (We used a Trotec Speedy 360 80W with a 2" lens)
• Vector cutting grid table
• 1 sheet of 23.5" x 11.75" x 1/8" Wood Veneer (6 cards per sheet)
• Air Assist, Small corn hole

Place the first TroWood sheet that you wish to cut into the laser. Next, adjust the laser processing parameters. Proceed to laser cut the sheet. Repeat this process for the other TroWood sheets.

• DPI: 500

• Power (%): 100%
• Speed (%): 1%
• PPI/Hz: 1000

Remove the sheet from the laser device and wipe the wood with a lightly moistened cloth.

Note: Leave assembly for the recipient of the card.

Begin to remove the individually processed pieces from the sheet of wood. Slide the two tree pieces together and attach the bottom to the "X" on the card. Assemble the sleigh and fasten the runners into the four notches on the card, as shown in the images provided.

Experiment with different designs, messages, and TroWood Veneer types, such as Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, or Walnut.
