Laser Engraving and Cutting

So. You want to laser engrave something? Do it then.

Connect to the cutter's IP address by typing it into the search bar in your browser. It is labeled on the laser cutter and on the wall under the TV. From there, you can use the software to design what you want cut or engraved. You can also upload an image of a design. If you want, you can use the camera capture feature on the cutter to see where on your object the design will go. Just put your object in the cutting tray, and tap the camera capture button, and an image of your object will be in the design software, instead of an empty tray.

After you have made or uploaded your design, and placed it on your object wherever you want it, now you can cut and engrave. Consult the power and speed chart by the computer by the door, and adjust accordingly based on material and whether you are engraving or cutting. After you have adjusted your settings, just click "RUN" and the laser engraver will do the rest. After the job is complete, you can remove your object from the tray.

Now your object has been cut or engraved. Turn it in to the badge form to get a grade. Or don't. I don't care. It's your grade.
