Lazy or Bold (A World of Currency)

Art can be described in more ways than one. I want to show that the art piece is more than what it looks, it is what it actually represents. This piece can be described in many ways, whether it's the social class structure of our world, or there less people with a higher economic standard and at the bottom, a vast majority of people with lower standards working with a lot of effort and yet giving credit to high standards at the top. However, even with such people thinking that they are less valuable, all we know is that if they lose their grip to the structure, the entire system falls, that is what makes these people so important to our world. Since I made this project a year ago, I have trouble getting all of the step processes in as I only have a video of it being printed. The photos is what I took recently of it.

• empty Milano dark chocolate cookie containers (quantity: 2)

This is the file I designed myself on Tinkercad. Download the design model as an STL file.

Upload the file into Creality 4.8.2 slicer, download one if you don't have it. Configure the ender 3 v2 printer setting first. I am using PLA filament for the model. Adjust to a standard 0.2 mm layer height in the parameters. Also attach a adhesive brim to the slicer. Nozzle temperature should be set to 200 C, and heat bed should be 60 C. Then slice the model and upload it to your printer with the usb.

Start the print. Make sure the bed is leveled. This was a 10-hour print. Make sure to carefully remove the pieces and peel the brim off after it is done.

Note: This video was a year ago.

• a) Smear super glue gel on the platform with pegs, then attach the trapezoid penny perch, wait for it to dry.
• b) Put super glue gel on the tips of each of the penny legs, then carefully attach the penny legs on the perch with each penny facing one side of the perch. Apply super glue gel on top of the heads of each of the four pennies. Place the thin largest platform on top of the heads of the pennies. Keep aligning the pennies straight until the glue can hold. Wait for it to dry.
• c) Put super glue on the tips of the legs of each of the three dollar bills, place them on top of the platform triangularly. Apply super glue gel on top of the arms of each of the three dollar bills. Then place the second smallest platform on top of the tips of the arms of each of the three dollar bills, align the bills straight until the glue can hold. Wait for it to dry.
• d)Apply super glue on the tips of each of the legs of the gold bars, place each of them sideways facing outside, apply super glue gel on each of the tips of the arms of the gold bars and place the smallest platform, align the gold bars straight until the glue can hold, wait for it to dry.
• e) Place super glue gel on the legs of the diamond and place it sideways on the smallest platform, keep aligning it until the glue can hold. Make sure the diamond has space for the staff. Place super glue gel on the bottom of the staff and place it next to the diamond. Press the staff until it can hold on the platform. Wait for it to dry.
• f) Remove the lids of the containers. Turn on the hot glue and apply hot glue on a 6x6x1 inch foam block and place it on a bottom of one container. Take the print model, apply hot glue on the bottom and stick the printed table pegs on the foam board. Take the other container and align it upside down on the other container. Apply Hot glue on the board of the two container around so they can hold.
• g) Get a 7 1/2 x 6 x 3 inch foam block and apply hot glue on the bottom of the container model and place it on top of the foam board until it holds. Cut out a 7 1/2 x 6 inch sticky wall paper, peel the sticker and apply it to the bottom on the model.
• h) Cut out a 4 3/4 x 8 1/2 inch poster paper and tape it to the right side of the container where the front of the model is showing. Use the red marker and place the words L--D.
• i) Cut out a 19x5 inch poster paper and tape it on the top of the model where the front is showing. Marker the capatilized words, Z--Y on the left side, and O--R on the top.
• j) Cut out a 4 3/4 x 8 1/2 inch poster paper and tape it on the bottom left side of the model where the front is showing. Marker the words capatilized L--A.
• k) Finally, cut out a 6 x 4 3/4 inch poster paper and tape it to the bottom front of the model where the front of it is showing, marker Lazy, then ,or, underneath it, and Bold underneath it.

Note: it is okay to use hot glue as a substitute of super glue as I did when the model broke.

In conclusion, I love the reflection art piece, it could also be used as a nice artifact display for the house setting, or the museum setting. The art just shows not what it looks like, but what it actually represents.
