League of Legends Jinx Fishbones Gun Prop

Jinx is a crazy fun champion to play in League of legends. Her most iconic weapon is her gun Fishbones, a shark-shaped rocket launcher that can deal AoE Crits. In this article I will show you how to make your own Fishbones prop.

First find an image of the gun, a version you would like to use. Draw it out and make a pattern. Try to break it up into pieces that can easily be fit together.

Trace the pattern onto something more sturdy. I recommend cardboard or foam board.

Lay the cardboard out and cover it in a thick layer of aerosol foam. I recommend expanding foam that you can find at your local hardware store.

Carve the expanding foam to form the basic shape of the gun. Take Special care with the teeth as they can easily break off. Fill in the cracks with you choice of filler. I recommend plaster or gesso. Wait for it to dry then paint it. I used a blue spraypaint as the basecoat. I then filled in the details with a black paint to give it more depth.

I am poor so I used cans an bottles super glued together to make the base of the gun. You can use pvc pipe or even a pool noodle.

I used gorilla glue to glue all of the pieces to the base. I used a screw to make the jaws of the fun able to move open and closed. Make sure to leave the glue to cure otherwise it may break and be weak.

I added googly eyes and led lights as details.
