Thread Leather and Crimps
Thread both ends of a single piece of leather through ring on an ear loop. Feed a crimp tube onto the leather strands and even out the strand ends. Push crimp bead up to the ring on the ear loop. Feed a second strand of leather through the space in between the crimp and the ear loop. Using your chain nose pliers, flatten the crimp so that it is perpendicular to the ring on the ear loop.
Thread Second Leather Cord and Crimp
Thread a both ends of the second piece of leather through a crimp bead and push the crimp up toward the flattened crimp. Using your chain nose pliers, flatten the crimp so that it is perpendicular to the first crimp you flattened. Repeat this pattern to create a series of 8 flattened crimps, alternating the leather strands you crimp. Trim excess leather so that the strands are the same length.
