"Simply divine! Impeccably fine! Gorgeous design! Notably kind!"
Sign-lover from The Legend of Zelda

This is an instructable on how to make the roadsigns from The Legend of Zelda. The sign I made is specific for The Ocarina of TIme, but all the signs are pretty much the same.

Gather Supplies

All you need is:
Duct Tape
Wood-looking Sticky Decals
2 toilet paper rolls (or pvc pipe, I used really hard, skinny rolls)
1 Shoe box, the shorter the better.

Make the Post

Simply duct tape the two rolls together (see pic) and then cover with the sticky decal-paper-stuff. (if there are wrinkles in it, its okay, it makes it look more like a stick.)

Make the Sign

Now take your box, unfold it, and turn it inside out. Then cover all sides except the bottom with the wood- paper-stuff.
Then make a border around the edges of the bottom using a brown crayon and a brown marker. The border should just be a slightly messy line about an inch away from the edges. Next, look at the last picture on this page and make the writing on your sign look like that using a black sharpie. Then, using your crayon, lightly make stripes along the sgin, making it look more wood-like.

Now fond the center of the top and bottom of the sign (with the written-on side being the front.) and make a hole there slightly smaller than your post. (see pic) Then stick the post through the two holes, leaving an inch sticking up out of the top.

Photoshoot

Now dress up like Link, make a Navi, and take some pics!
