Leveling Assembly TAD 330

Here you will learn how to create the leveling assembly shown above with 4 parts and 1 assembly
Base Plate Sketch

First Part! The Sketch for the base plate can be made through rectangles or lines to the dimensions given in the photo above. The curves on both the inside and outside can be made by using the fillet tool in the sketch mode.
Base Plate Sketch Extrusion

Use the Extrusion tool to extrude the sketch by 75 mm.
Base Plate Hole Sketch

Create a sketch of a circle as shown above.
Base Plate Hole Extrusion

Extrude the hole sketch all the way through
Base Plate Third Sketch

Create a sketch of a circle and 2 lines as shown above.
Base Plate Third Sketch Extrusion

Extrude the hole sketch through the first section
Lifting Block Sketch

New Part! Make a rectangle based on the dimensions shown above
Lifting Block Extrusion

Extrude the Sketch 100 mm
Lifting Block Sketch 2

Make a sketch on the side of the previous extrusion with the dimensions shown above
Lifting Block Sketch 2 Extrusion

Extrude the sketch all the way through
Lifting Block Fillets

Add fillets to all areas (3mm radius)
Lifting Block Circle Sketch

On the top add a sketch of a circle with these dimensions
Lifting Block Circle Sketch Extrusion

Extrude the circle sketch 5mm
Lifting Block Fillet

Add a fillet onto the previous sketch (Radius of 3mm)
Lifting Block Circle Sketch 2

Add another sketch of a circle with the dimensions above in the center of the other circle
Lifting Block Circle 2 Extrusion

Extrude that circle sketch all the way through
Adjusting Screw Sketch

New Part! Create a sketch like the one above with an overall length of 72mm
Adjusting Screw Revolve

Revolve the previous sketch!
Adjusting Screw Hexagon Sketch

Make the sketch shown above
Adjusting Screw Extrusion

Extrude the previous hexagon sketch 9 mm
Adjusting Screw Chamfer

Create a chamfer of 1 mm
Adjusting Screw Thread

Add a thread to the end of the screw
Sliding Block Sketch

Sliding Block Sketch Extrusion

Extrude the first sketch 100 mm
Sliding Block Sliding Block

On the side of the last extrusion recreate the sketch shown above
Sliding Block Second Sketch Extrusion

Extrude the Second Sketch all the way through
Sliding Block Third Sketch

On the top create the sketch shown above
Sliding Block Third Sketch Extrusion

Extrude the Third Sketch all the way through
Sliding Block Hole Sketch

Create a sketch of a hole in the center of the back of the part
Sliding Block Hole Extrusion

Extrude the hole sketch all the way through
Sliding Block Fillets

Add 3mm radius fillets to the areas shown
Assembly: Screw to Base Plate

Assembly Time! Constrain the Screw to the base plate with the areas of constraint shown
Assembly: Sliding Block to Base Plate

Constrain the sliding block to the base plate with the areas of constraint shown
Assembly: Lifting Block to Base Plate

Constrain the lifting block to the base plate with the areas of constraint shown
Final Assembly Complete!

Good Job!
