Lightweight A-Frame

Materials:
  • 6x dressed pine boards (42MM x 19MM x 1.20M)
  • Pocket hole screws
  • 2x hinges
  • 2x 6o0 x 900 mm facing (Corflute)

Tools:
  • Pocket hole Jig
  • drill
  • saw
  • clamps.
  • staple gun

Dimensions:
  • Frame height 105cm (I also made one that is 115cm)
  • 60cm across
  • The placards are 600x900mm.

Total cost $30

The faces could be done with plywood instead and be covered with chalkboard paint.
I am also thinking of attaching rope at the sides to stop the frame over-extending but it is still sturdy without it.
