Little Parthenon

In this Instructable we will show you how to make a little Parthenon.

Supplies

You will need:

- a thick block of balsa wood,

- thin block of balsa wood,

- balsa wood rod,

- PVA glue,

- and saw.

Cut Out a Piece of Wood

Cut out a piece of wood from thick balsa wood block, 9 cm by 7.5 cm.

This will be the base of the building.

Cut Out Another Piece of Wood

Cut out a piece of wood from think balsa wood block, 5.5 cm by 7 cm.

Stick the Thin Part Onto the Thick Part

Stick the thin part onto the thick part with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.

Cut Out the Pillars

Cut out the pillars from the balsa wood rod, 3 cm in length each.

Stick the Pillars Onto the Base

Stick the pillars onto the base with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.

Cut Out the Roof

Cut out the roof from thick balsa wood block, 5.5 cm by 7 cm.

The triangle is 5.5 cm in width and 1 cm in height. Cut it out with saw.

Stick the Roof on Top of the Pillars

Stick the roof on top of the pillars with PVA glue.

Leave to dry for one day.
